28 de ene. de 2019 · Richard Serra’s massive steel sculpture Sequence (2006) is one of the artist’s most monumental achievements. Owned by the Donald and Doris Fisher family, this sculpture comprises twelve steel plates and weighs a staggering 235 tons.
The other two pieces are really about circulation and walking. NARRATOR: At the far end of the room is Sequence, defined by its vertical walls. RICHARD SERRA: Sequence, is two torqued ellipses connected by an S. And the S is the passage that reverses itself right in the center of the piece.

For city dwellers that fancy a romp around a classic corn maze but can’t seem to make it out to the country, Richard Serra’s sculpture Sequence is a nice alternative. This piece weighs in at a whopping 235 tons and consists of a labyrinth of twisting steel 67 feet long .
