IT is a sprawling book that involves the battle between a group of outcast kids - dubbed the Losers' Club - who defeat an evil, shapeshifting creature in their hometown of Derry.

The Well House, also known as the Haunted House, is the house on Neibolt Street in IT and the 2017 movie adaptation. It's an abandoned house where IT lives. All the major incidents are connected to this house by the sewers. Most of the Losers' Club hate this house.
A key location of It is the eerie haunted house at 29 Neibolt Street. The facade of the old mansion was built on the corner of James Street and Eulalie Avenue in central Oshawa. Exterior shots were filmed here for three full days, although the final result on the screen involves lots of CGI.

After narrowly escaping the attack by Pennywise in Bill's garage, the Losers Club go to the house on Neibolt Street where Bill deduces "It" to be hiding. The creature uses its shape-shifting abilities to separate the group and attempts to pick them off.
