Julia Scarlett Elizabeth Louis-Dreyfus (born January 13, 1961) is an American actress, comedienne and producer. She was a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1982 to 1985.

In May 2006, Louis-Dreyfus hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live, becoming the first female former cast member to return to the show as a host. In the episode, she appeared with her Seinfeld co-stars Jason Alexander and Jerry Seinfeld in her opening monologue, parodying the so-called "Seinfeld curse".
