The Betweenlands revolves around a swampy-like theme. It has a randomly generated, animated green sky dotted with mysterious, hazy stars. These skies have Auroras from time to time, one of the last sparks of happiness in the dimension. The once verdant soil retains a very dead green color.
The Betweenlands is a mod for the sandbox construction game, Minecraft. This large and expansive mod adds a whole new dimension along with tons of its own blocks, mobs, items, game mechanics, and even music.
The Mods I was using include: optifine (1.12.2) the betweenlands (1.12.2) McHorse’s mclib and metamorph (1.12.2) along with sildurs vibrant shaders (1.18.2) would you know if the shaders froze the game?

The Betweenlands used to be my least favorite of the "good" dimension mods, but I'll be honest: it's grown on me. It can be really griefy to start with, but it grows on you. Once you understand the rules of the world and figure out the things you should and should not be doing, it becomes a lot more interesting and fun.
