Hackney Yard is a roughly rectangular shaped three-lane designed multiplayer map that fits mid-to-short range combat, with long-range lanes in certain places. There's a multitude of sightlines on different areas that, if unattentive, will catch enemies to open fire.
Just outside of Hackney Yard you will see many ships and sailboats floating fast in the river with lots of shipping containers and tall buildings around the rest of the map. You will also see and hear a train the runs down the tracks just overhead.

Not only is this map a staple within the Modern Warfare Multiplayer rotation today, but also one of several maps in the Call of Duty League map pool.

On Hackney Yard, I created 3 of the playable buildings, from block-out to final art, using materials and models in our map editor. I also created the corrugated metal models and materials, and I used photogrammetry scans to make props such as concrete pillars and fiberglass insulation for the map.
