    In fact it does not work on 1.4.0 (should have probably mentioned that in my post since newer versions are kinda hidden). You have to go to the official PCSX2 website and there you will see releases and development. Go to development and click on either windows or linux (mac isn't supported unfortunately if you have that) it looks like this
