Nicholas Berkeley Mason CBE (born 27 January 1944) is an English drummer and a founder member of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd. He has been the only constant member since the band's formation in 1964, and the only member to appear on every Pink Floyd album.
Nick Mason's recent autobiography, Inside Out, recalls his unique experiences as the drummer for Pink Floyd during for over three decades — he is the only member to have remained with Pink Floyd throughout the complete duration of the group's career.

Mason was one of the founders and the only Pink Floyd drummer. The original crew was composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Syd Barrett, Nick Mason on drums, bass guitarist and vocalist Roger Waters, keyboardist and vocalist Richard Wright and Bob Klose on the guitar.
