The radio-phonograph created in 1956 was one of his most iconic works for Braun, which secured the company’s success.
Dieter Rams (born 20 May 1932) is a German industrial designer who is most closely associated with the consumer products company Braun, the furniture company Vitsœ, and the functionalist school of industrial design.
Dieter Rams is a German industrial designer who was responsible for the design of Braun’s consumer products for many years. About 50 years ago, in his quest to answer the question “Is my design a good design ?”, he developed the 10 principles of good design, sometimes also known as 10 commandments.
