Louis-Simon Boizot (1743–1809) was a French sculptor whose models for biscuit figures for Sèvres porcelain are better-known than his large-scale sculptures.
Fils du peintre Antoine Boizot et frère aîné de la graveuse Marie-Louise-Adélaïde Boizot, Louis-Simon Boizot est l'élève du sculpteur Michel-Ange Slodtz lorsqu'il remporte, en 1762, le premier prix de Rome en sculpture sur le thème de La Mort de Germanicus.

Louis-Simon Boizot. The sculptor Louis-Simon Boizot was born on October 9, 1743 in Paris. He was the son of a designer at the Gobelins, and received his early arts education from the sculptor René-Michel Slodtz.
