John Stevens Henslow (* 6 de febrero de 1796 - 16 de mayo de 1861) fue un religioso anglicano, botánico, geólogo inglés. Henslow era natural de Rochester, hijo del abogado John Prentis Henslow, a su vez hijo de Sir John Henslow.

John Stevens Henslow was a naturalist, a Cambridge academic, most remembered as a friend and mentor of Charles Darwin, inspiring him with a passion for natural history, proposing him to sail on the HMS Beagle as the naturalist on its five-year voyage, and promoting Darwin’s work as he developed his theory of evolution.
Henslow was initially pointed out to young Darwin at Christ’s College as ‘the man who knows everything’. For Henslow, the interaction with Darwin led to a life-long friendship.
