Marc William Buie (/ ˈ b uː i /; born September 17, 1958) is an American astronomer and prolific discoverer of minor planets who works at the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder, Colorado in the Space Science Department.
In support of this leaning I am very much interested in both telescopic instrument development and in robotic observing systems. I also pursue the very specialized art of stellar occultation observations by solar system bodies, usually with portable systems.
