14 de ago. de 2020 · When Kadambini Ganguly and Chandramukhi Basu graduated from Bethune College in 1883, they became the first two women graduates in the subcontinent. “This was the most revolutionary thing at that time,” says Chakravorty. Ganguly’s achievements were particularly extraordinary for a woman back then.
