When Mstislav I of Kiev was born in February 1076, in Kyiv, Ukraine, his father, Великий князь Киевский Владимир Всеволодович Мономах, was 22 and his mother, Gytha of Wessex, was 24. He married Princess Christina Ingesdotter in 1095.
