Emmanuel Graf von Mensdorff-Pouilly (24 January 1777 – 28 June 1852) was an army officer in the Imperial-Royal Army of the Austrian Empire, and vice-governor of Mainz. He was the uncle of Queen Victoria and the godfather of her husband, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha .

In 1818, Emmanuel von Mensdorff-Pouilly received a comital title from the Austrian Emperor, and he was recognized as noble in Bohemia (the Inkolat) in 1839. Through Emmanuel's wife, Princess Sophie of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, the family is closely related to the royal families of Belgium, Sweden, Portugal, Bulgaria and the United Kingdom.
It was there where she met her future husband, Emmanuel von Mensdorff-Pouilly. They married on 23 February 1804 in Coburg. Her husband was elevated to count in 1818. In 1806, her husband was in Saalfeld, a secondary residence of the Coburg court.
Emmanuel, comte de Mensdorff-Pouilly (Nancy ou Pouilly-sur-Meuse 24 janvier 1777 - Vienne 28 juin 1852) était un feldmarschall-lieutenant autrichien, vice-gouverneur de la forteresse de Mayence, ainsi que citoyen d'honneur de la ville de Mayence à partir de 1834.
