Kirsty Blackman ( née West; born 20 March 1986) [2] [3] is a Scottish National Party (SNP) politician serving as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Aberdeen North since 2015 . Blackman was re-elected in 2017, 2019 and 2024. [4] [5] and currently serves as the SNP Spokesperson for the Cabinet Office.

25 de sept. de 2020 · The MP stepped down from her role as the party’s Westminster deputy leader in July, citing the impact of the coronavirus lockdown on her mental health. In her announcement she said she “strongly believes” people should be able to talk openly about mental health issues.
