Alexander Gordon, 4th Duke of Gordon, KT (18 June 1743 – 17 June 1827), styled Marquess of Huntly until 1752, was a Scottish peer who was described by Henry Home, Lord Kames as the "greatest subject in Britain".
A collection of letters from the five Dukes of Gordon, including the 4th Duke Alexander Gordon, who was a Jacobite and a friend of Cosmo, Grand Duke of Tuscany. The letters cover the period from 1677 to 1860 and relate to politics, religion, family and estate matters.
