De-Phazz es una banda de nu-jazz original de Alemania, fundada por Pit Baumgartner en 1997. El proyecto consiste en unir piezas musicales, creando música de gran belleza y fácil digestión. Se trata de un nu-jazz easy listening, en donde abundan influencias poperas y fondos trip-hop.

That `Pit Sounds` ends with a ludicrously re-arranged version of a piece by classical composer John Dowland works perfectly. As the album shows, the brilliant sound tailor Pit Baumgartner is now a classic himself. The band De-Phazz was founded in 1997 by Pit Baumgartner in Heidelberg.
