Nicholas Addison Phillips, Baron Phillips of Worth Matravers, KG, GBS, PC (born 21 January 1938) is a British former senior judge. Phillips was the inaugural President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, holding office between October 2009 and October 2012.

He became a Queen's Bench Judge, nominated to sit in the Commercial Court, in 1987, and was a Lord Justice of Appeal from 1995 to 1999, when he was made a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary. He was Master of the Rolls from 2000 to 2005 and Lord Chief Justice of England & Wales from 2005 to 2008.
One of Britain’s most senior judges, Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, was Master of the Rolls from 2000 to 2005 and Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales from 2005 to 2008. In 2009 he became first President of the newly created Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, retiring in 2012.
