Penmetsa Ram Gopal Varma (born 7 April 1962), often referred to by his initials RGV, is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer, known for his works in Telugu cinema in addition to Hindi, Kannada language films, and television.
Ram D. Gopal is the Information Systems Society's Distinguished Fellow and a Professor of Information Systems and Management at the Warwick Business School. He previously served as the Head of the Department of Operations and Information Management in the School of Business, University of Connecticut from 2008-2018.
