Miami City Ballet extends a warm welcome to you. Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez has curated a 2021/22 season with the joy of dance and captivating stories at its heart, and we can’t wait to celebrate our return to theaters with you. The centerpiece of the season is an event not to be missed!
Miami City Ballet features an international ensemble of over 50 dancers. The company has an active repertoire of 88 ballets, including 9 world premiers, and performs over 75 times annually. Miami City Ballet serves as the resident ballet company in theaters in the Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and West Palm Beach areas.
Two dancers meet in a sun-soaked ballet studio. They stretch, preen, and drift together – transfixed by their own reflections. The mirror is the audience, and we observe their intimate encounter, equal parts sensual and narcissistic.
