Federico I de Hesse-Homburg (Castillo de Lichtenberg, 5 de marzo de 1585-Bad Homburg, 9 de mayo de 1638) fue el primer landgrave de Hesse-Homburg y fundador de la línea familiar epónima.
Frederic I de Hessen-Homburg (en alemany Friedrich I von Hessen-Homburg) va néixer al castell de Lichtenberg, a Fischbachtal , el 5 de març de 1585 i va morir a Bad Homburg el 9 de maig de 1638. Era un noble alemany, fill de Jordi I de Hessen-Darmstadt (1547-1596) i de Magdalena de Lippe (1552-1587).

Hesse-Homburg was a state of the Holy Roman Empire and a sovereign member of the German Confederation. It was formed into a separate landgraviate in 1622 by the landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt; it was to be ruled by his son, although it did not become independent of Hesse-Darmstadt until 1668.
