  5. Biography. Mühlen-based Alwin was the brother of Paul Schockemöhle. Alwin started in 1960 for the mixed German Olympic team and won a gold medal with the West German show jumping team. In 1968 and 1976 he participated for West Germany and won a bronze and a silver team medal.
