Susan Dunn Whittier Bottomly (born October 1, 1948), also known as International Velvet, is a former American model and actress. She is known primarily for her appearances in many of Andy Warhol's underground films, as well as her modeling career which spanned over a decade.
International Velvet was the Andy Warhol "superstar" who was the immediate replacement for Edie Sedgwick in the Warhol retinue. Born Susan Bottomly into a venerable New England family (her father served as a district attorney in Boston), she attended boarding school, but was expelled four times.
