The Ronettes were an American girl group from Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York City. [1] The group consisted of lead singer Veronica Bennett (later known as Ronnie Spector), her older sister Estelle Bennett, and their cousin Nedra Talley.
Released in August 1963, "Be My Baby" was the Ronettes' first single under the Philles label. Produced by Phil Spector, it became an immortal hit for the group, and a #1 record.
