Storm Over Warlock is a science fiction novel written by Andre Norton and published in 1960 by the World Publishing Company. The story combines science fiction with fantasy, technology with witchcraft, in a way typical of Norton's works. The sequels are Ordeal in Otherwhere and Forerunner Foray.

Storm over Warlock is the first. A Terran survey camp on the planet Warlock is attacked by off-planet aliens. Two survivors, Shann, a menial laborer, and his officer, escape into the surrounding wilderness.
The remaining two survivors of the planet Warlock fight for survival in the face of an invasion by beetle-like Throgs
But Warlock, swinging through space between two forbidding neighbors, seemed to be just what the settlement board ordered. Then the Survey scout, even in the cocoon safety of his well-armed ship, began to dream.
