Kenyon College ( / ˈkɛnjən / KEN-yən) is a private liberal arts college in Gambier, Ohio, United States. It was founded in 1824 by Episcopal Bishop Philander Chase. It is the oldest private institution of higher education in the state of Ohio and enrolls approximately 1,800 undergraduate students.

Our curriculum is both wide and deep — we offer 50 majors, minors and concentrations, plus the option to double major or design your own. We lead all NCAA Division III institutions with 61 national championship trophies. We're also ranked second in the country for producing NCAA Postgraduate Scholars.
Kenyon is one of the few colleges in the U.S. where all students live on campus. Benches invite students to pause, converse and greet an occasional furry friend. Students run along the Kokosing Gap Trail, a 13.5-mile paved route with scenic views of the Kokosing River valley.
