Initially a trio for their first gigs in December 1972, the original members were guitarist and vocalist Kim Mitchell, bassist Mike Tilka, and drummer Phil Trudell. The band were briefly called Stinky, then Special Delivery.

Recording sessions began in late 1977 at Sounds Interchange with Terry Brown as co-producer and resumed at Phase One Studios in early 1978 with bassist Mike Tilka stepping in after Brown quit.

Also, there is a “Bootleg” record with some live tracks (there is a live version of “Let Go The Line” from the Max reunion ten years ago) and demos never released before.
