23 de sept. de 2020 · Joe D’Arco replace Stewart on drums until Steward rejoined the band in 1998, only to vacate his throne once again in 2002 to his successor, Shannon Larkin (previously of Ugly Kid Joe, Souls At Zero and Wrathchild America). Godsmack’s next studio effort was Awake, issued by Universal/Republic on Halloween in 2000.
In May 1997, Joe D'Arco joined to replace Stewart on drums. Eventually, Godsmack's CD landed in the hands of Rocko, the night-time DJ for Boston radio station WAAF (FM). The radio station put "Keep Away" into heavy rotation and the song rose to the number one spot at the station very quickly.

In 1996, Tony Rombola and Joe D'Arco joined Godsmack as the guitarist and drummer, after Richards left after finding out he had a six-year-old child and Stewart left due to personal differences. In the same year the band entered the studio for the first time, recording its first CD titled "All Wound Up".
Joseph D'Arco. Joseph "Little Joe" D'Arco is a former soldier who is currently in witness protection, as had his father, former acting boss Alphonse D'Arco, until his death. In early 1990, Vic Amuso and Anthony Casso ordered D'Arco to kill Anthony DiLapi, a soldier who was in hiding.
29 de feb. de 2024 · Along with him would be Tony Rombolo (guitar), Robbie Merrill (bass) and Tommy Stuart (drums; who stepped in to replace original member Joe D'Arco who would later return). The act would start out under the name The Scam , but quickly changed its name to Godsmack after recording one demo.
The band replaced drummer Joe D'Arco with Tommy Stewart and All Wound Up was remastered and released six weeks later as Godsmack. On December 4, 2001, the album was certified 4× Platinum by the RIAA .
