  5. Ironically, the Beatles recorded two Shirelles songs—“Baby Its You” and “ Boys”—on their debut album. The Shirelles broke up in the late 1960s but re-formed later for “oldies” shows. Remembered for their sweet, gospel-tinged harmonies, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.
