The department also offers a practice-oriented teacher training course (PPU) for drama teachers.

The Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) is an art academy in Oslo, Norway, that provides education in visual arts, design, and performing arts. KHiO is situated next to the river Akerselva, where the Academy rents a total space of 43,000 m 2 (460,000 sq ft).
