Crazy Horse (Lakota: Tȟašúŋke Witkó [tˣaˈʃʊ̃kɛ witˈkɔ], lit. ' His-Horse-Is-Crazy '; c. 1840 – September 5, 1877) was a Lakota war leader of the Oglala band in the 19th century.
