Ryen Slegr is an American musician best known for being a member of the rock band Ozma. He is also affiliated with The Rentals, Weezer, and Rachel Haden.
16 de feb. de 2024 · Ryen is best known as a guitarist, vocalist, and founding member of the California rock band Ozma. Slegr graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in history. He also studied Japanese court music called Gagaku at UCLA and took various music classes at Pasadena City College, including Spud Murphy's Equal Interval System.

12 de mar. de 2022 · Regarding vocals, Ozma guitarist and co-singer Ryen Slegr offers a twangier, more aggressive counterpart to bandmate Daniel Brummel, almost like the Lennon to his McCartney. Although, both Slegr and Brummel are exceedingly bright baritones who wield nasal SoCal accents and a special admiration for the tenor range.
