The Capital Preparatory Magnet School is a year-round Pre- K through 12th grade school. Its College Preparatory environment is wrapped around a Social Justice theme that is integrated into the rigorous curriculum and instruction experience.
At Capital Prep the opportunities for students to explore their interests abound. Beyond the traditional classroom, students have countless avenues to explore new interests, connect with others and build community in ways that challenge and support them on their academic journey.
The result was Capital Prep Magnet School within the Hartford Public Schools district, a college preparatory grades 6-12 school that provides a diverse community of student learners with the academic, character, and college and career readiness skills needed to become responsible and engaged citizens for social justice.
