Dragging Down the Enforcer is the name of the debut album by Outlaw Order, a side-project of the pioneering American sludge metal outfit Eyehategod. It was released in November 2008 in both jewel case and metal box formats.
Outlaw Order is a new band featuring 4 of the 5 members of legendary New Orleans sludge crew Eyehategod. With the entire band apart from Jimmy Bower coming together, Outlaw Order has been riding some pretty high expectations with this album. First of all, Dragging down the Enforcer is not an Eyehategod album.
Mark Schultz (ex-Eyehategod) was forced to leave the band to serve a prison sentence.

Everyone but Jimmy Bower is present on Dragging Down The Enforcer, a grim-faced stomp through the swamp that will appeal to all fans of that ‘Nawleans’ sound – drawn-out riffs, paranoid screams, hardcore intensity, drawn up into a whiskey-drinking pummelling.
