BA in Economics: Standard Track. The program in economics can be divided into five component parts: Fundamentals: provides students with the basic skills required to be successful in the major. Core Curriculum: consists of three courses designed to introduce students to the "economic approach.”

The department boasts affiliations with numerous research centers and initiatives including the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics, the Center for the Economics of Human Development, the Development Innovation Lab, and more.
The Department of Physics offers both an undergraduate major and minor in physics. The major in physics includes a strong emphasis on experiment and covers the broad fundamentals necessary for graduate study in physics and related fields.
