  4. Timeline: • Alderman Newtons Greencoat Boys’ School established 1784. • Rebuilt 1809. • School relocated to a larger purpose-built premises in 1864. Original intake was 35 boys which had increased to around a 100 by the mid 19th century and in 1864 was 120 pupils.

  7. 30 de ago. de 2007 · The building featured in this explore was occupied by the boys school from 1864 to 1884. After a break and extensions it reopened as a public elementary school for boys. the boys moved out in 1920, after which the Alderman Newtons Girls School occupied it until 1959.
