Her Majesty Queen Zein al-Sharaf was one of the strongest pillars of the Jordanian monarchy and a highly intelligent women. She is remembered for her pioneering efforts in charitable works, and her support for women’s rights.

Zein al-Sharaf Talal ( arabisch زين الشرف بنت جميل, DMG Zain aš-Šaraf bt. Ǧamīl; * 2. August 1916 in Alexandria, Sultanat Ägypten; † 26. April 1994 in Lausanne, Schweiz) war als Ehefrau von Talal bin Abdullah Königin von Jordanien. Sie ist die Mutter von König Hussein .
Talal bin Abdullah ( Arabic: طلال بن عبد الله, romanized : Ṭalāl bin ʻAbd Allāh; 26 February 1909 – 7 July 1972) was King of Jordan from the assassination of his father, King Abdullah I, on 20 July 1951 until his forced abdication on 11 August 1952.
