Joe Crispiano, from Staten Island, has been a guitar player in Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings since 2009. He has also played on albums by Lee Fields, Michael Buble, Andra Day, Saun & Starr, Lady, and the Sugarman 3.
His own band, the Dap-Kings, are the foundation of the Daptone House of Soul Stable, backing the label’s premier act Sharon Jones, and sought after by a growing list of premier artists (a list that includes Rod Stewart, Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, and Michael Buble).
