Johnny Graham. (b. August 3 rd, 1951). Lead/rhythm guitar, trumpet, percussionist in American R&B, soul, and funk band, Earth, Wind & Fire (1973-1983). Earth, Wind & Fire (abbreviated in initials as EWF or EW&F) is an American band that has spanned the musical genres of R&B, soul, funk, jazz, disco, pop, rock, Latin, and Afro pop.
After releasing another album, Laws and Bautista left the band, Laws was replaced by Bailey's school friend Andrew Woolfolk, and Bautista was replaced by Al McKay and Johnny Graham. This line-up recorded a new album, following its release in 1973, Jessica Cleaves left the band and was not replaced.
To fill the void created by Bautista's departure, rhythm guitarists Al McKay and Johnny Graham were added. Graham previously played with New Birth , while McKay was a former member of the Ike and Tina Turner Revue and The Watts 103rd St. Rhythm Band .
