  2. 17 de ago. de 2022 · Guitarist Ray Majors has passed away together with his partner Sandy Dillon. Ray played guitar with Hackensack before playing with MOTT from 1975 to 1976 and British Lions from 1977 to 1978. My thoughts are with Ray's and Sandy's families at this difficult time. 10th August 2022.

  4. The new line-up consisted of Watts, Griffin, and Fisher along with lead guitarist Ray Majors (formerly of Opal Butterfly, Hackensack, and a brief stint with Andy Fraser and Frankie Miller) and front man Nigel Benjamin.

  5. Months later Demick left the band, Ray Majors joined on lead guitar, and Idan moved to bass, Laurie Garman also joined on harmonica. A recording of the Jim McCarty Band featuring Demick and Idan was released under the Yardbirds name as Reunion Jam. In 1996, Majors was replaced by Gypie Mayo, and later Garman was replaced by Alan Glen.

    Ray Majors is the lead vocalist on "Outside Woman Blues", "How Blue", "Framed", "Lawyers, Guns & Money" and "I Go Crazy". Ray Majors toured with Jim McCarty (ex-Yardbirds) for two years in the early 90s. The band consisted of Jim and Ray plus John Idan and ex-Strawbs Rod Demic.
