En 1988 Eugene (bajo el seudónimo de Gene Hunt) junto a Joe Pasquale formaron el dúo Boys Club («I Remember Holding You» llegó al número 8). Eugene volvió al grupo para grabar « The Best of The Jets » en 1990 pero tanto él como Eddie, Elizabeth y Kathi dejaron la banda posteriormente.
