Demos is a compilation of demos and non-album tracks by Imperial Drag, released on May 2, 2005. Five additional tracks were subsequently made available exclusively through the Not Lame Recordings website.
Imperial Drag was the only studio album released by the group. A collection of demos (titled Demos) would be released in 2005 through the (now defunct) Weedshare music distribution service.
There are many gems among the unreleased tracks, notably Sweet Sweet Love, Lovin From the Oven, I Won't Pay to Buy It and the spectacular Could've Been You, which is as good as anything Roger Manning has worked on, including his Jellyfish material. This is highly recommended for lovers of Imperial Drag, Jellyfish, glam and 70's rock in general.
Imperial Drag was an American rock band active from 1994 to 1997. The group, formed after the breakup of Jellyfish, released one album and scored one hit single in the U.S. before disbanding.
