Kokugakuin University (Japanese: 國學院大學), abbreviated as Kokugakudai (國學大) or Kokudai (國大), is a Shinto-affiliated private research university in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The predecessor institution was founded in 1882 as institution of classical and religious learning.

Kokugakuin University is a private university mostly based on Tokyo's Shibuya district. It began as the Office of Japanese Classics Research, as an organisation to further explore Shinto, the traditional religion of Japan. It then became a university under Japan's current university system in 1948.

Kogakuin University is located in Shinjuku, Tokyo and has two campuses. The first is a five-minute walk from Shinjuku Station and consists of a 29-storey skyscraper in the Shinjuku Skyscraper District.
