For example, a Focusrite ISA preamp. There's a lot of signal meat for subsequent in-the-box to do something with. A lot.

Hace 2 días · instead of spending 1k on each piece of gear, i suggest you get a channel strip such as the grace design m-103, neve shelford channel, amek/neve channel in a box, millennia stt-1, focusrite producer pack isa-430 etc.....or then check out summit audio which have excellent but relatively affordable tube gear: start with the 2ba-221 preamp and build from there!
