In 1914, the school moved to a new campus on Vermont Avenue (now the site of Los Angeles City College) in East Hollywood.

Hi med student here: ucla fell in ranking solely bc us news (the organization that ranks med schools) messed with the ranking algorithm. Furthermore, if you actually look at the factors that go into ranking, it is mostly based on research dollars…but the ranking algorithm changed what they counted as research dollars (disqualified some funding sources that ucla uses heavily)
