Danced to recorded music with sparse scenery, the performances are better framed as summer novelties to be enjoyed with a glass of something refreshing as the company takes us through the highlights of Tchaikovsky’s score.
The show opens with a prologue where a young woman named Odette is seen at a beautiful lake. Here, she has an encounter with the evil Rothbart who curses her and dooms her to a life as a swan.
