He broke up his band for a short period in 1947 but shortly after he reorganized and was active again with his band from then until his death in 1983.
Hace 5 días · I know Harry James isn't thought of too much as a jazz player, but he should be as Harry had that "sound" and amazing facility and could swing his a$$ off. He had a high G as big as Texas and on false teeth at that.
