More than the sum of its parts, Qwalia is an expression of the musical languages of its four members – drummer Yusuf Ahmed (Joy Crookes, Anoushka Shankar), bassist Ben Reed (Frank Ocean, David Byrne) guitarist Tal Janes (Jordan Rakei, Cherise), keys and synths player Joseph Costi (Cat Stevens, Tom Herbert).
