James Gary Harman (June 8, 1946 – May 23, 2021) was an American blues harmonica player, singer, and songwriter. The music journalist Tony Russell described Harman as an "amusing songwriter and an excellent, unfussy blues harp player".

On May 19, 2021, just three weeks shy of his 75th birthday, James Harman died. He played the part of an irascible, roguish, raconteur with great conviction. Harman was also one of the most universally admired and respected blues men of his generation. He was an effective harmonica player and a terrific singer.
