13 de feb. de 2016 · This is a review and detailed measurements of the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface (DAC/ADC). I was talked into buying it recently. The 2i2 costs US $140 including free Prime shipping so very reasonable for amount of functionality. Yes, I have left the plastic cover on the front and back.

23 de feb. de 2019 · Focusrite 2i2 driven from Topping D10s. We can see big improvement in HF linearity, this shows that ADC part of Focusrite 2i2 is considerably better than the DAC part. Please also note that noise is also lower.

I have a 2i2 that I use with REW and a calibrated mic for room measurements. In this role it is fantastic - no fuss, easy to set up, and reliable. Mine is a Gen 1 2i2 and it still works flawlessly.
22 de jun. de 2023 · I found a set of used (secondhand/preowned) Scarlett 2i2 2nd gen and its the same price as a NEW M Audio MTrack duo. Which do you thing I should consider ? or do you think something else is better in price range of MAudio MTrack duo. I cannot buy in price range of Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen its too expensive for my use case.
17 de may. de 2022 · Hello, I'm looking to use the 2i2 g3 as a spectrum analyzer for headphone amplifiers and DACs. I understand it won't be the most accurate of things, but it's more of a fun experiment than anything. I was wondering how much power can I feed the 2i2's XLR input before I hook up a Topping A30Pro and Burson Soloist X3P to it.
2 de dic. de 2019 · All professional gear with 1/4” output connectors is designed to use TRS connectors for balanced and TS connectors for single ended output. There is a buffering resistor in the (-) leg to prevent damage from the short circuit on the output. The S section on the plug touches both the (-) and ground. Nope. You have to read the manual.
17 de sept. de 2023 · 2. Sep 17, 2023. #1. I got the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen (just a few days before the 4th gen came out - *sigh*). Anyway, I got a pair of Rode M5 condenser mics. I connected then to the Scarlett. The Scarlett is connected to my laptop. The Scarlett works. Then I turn on the 48v phantom power but... the gain knobs which should light green ...

The redesigned filling has significantly improved the parameters of the device, and the emerging mode of emulation of branded AIR preamps distinguishes the interface from other budget solutions.
6 de nov. de 2018 · So I was wondering if the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen is right for me: the DAC should be good for general use, and the idea is to use the 2 XLR inputs as channel right and left of the output of my Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 RCA out (via converter) when I want to mix a little bit. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!
